This tour includes physical activity such as hiking in nature. It’s also a great opportunity to see local flora and fauna.

We will pick you up from your hotel located in the city of Cusco. If your hotel is not located in Cusco, please inform us in advance in order to arrange transport from your hotel

Day 1:

We will collect you from your hotel very early, at around 4:30 a.m., travelling for around 2 hours, taking you to Cuspata-Paucapata.

Around 7:20 a.m., you will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast prepared by our expert chefs. Included: scrambled eggs, cheese, ham, fruit salad, hot drinks and more.

After breakfast, we will continue our route for around 40 minutes until we arrive at the first checkpoint for our journey at Llaqta. Here you will receive an orientation with our guide, and we will make a ceremonial offering to the mountain.

We will be able to observe the peaks of Wiñay Rit’i (Perpetual Snow) while we walk for around 80 minutes to the site of the Rainbow Mountain (5,020 m.a.s.l.). Make sure to take unbelievable photos here!

If you decide to, we can return via the Red Valley, a unique ecosystem considered to be an Andean desert.

Also, we will also visit a viewpoint that has a great view of the Rainbow mountain. After, we will return to the Llaqta where our transport will be waiting for us.

Finally, we will enjoy a buffet lunch based on NovaAndino cuisine.

We will return to Cusco at around 5:00 p.m.
