This tour includes physical activities such as hiking in nature which the chance to see local flora, fauna, and beautiful natural scenery.
We will pick you up from your hotel located in the city of Cusco. If your hotel is not located in Cusco, please inform us in advance in order to arrange transport from your hotel.
We will come to collect you from your hotel at around 4:30 a.m. and set off towards the town of Mollepata where, upon arrival, we will have a tasty and healthy breakfast.
Later, we will continue our trip to Soraypampa, located at 3,900 m.a.s.l., where you will come face to face with the immense peaks of Apu Humantay and Apu Salkantay.
From this point we will begin our two-hour hike to the lake Humantay.
The lake with its splendour will stun you, while the grandeur of the mammoth peaks set behind the lake will be an impressive sight to see.
After spending time enjoying the magic and beauty of the lake, we will begin our descent back down the mountain to the awaiting transport that will take us back to the city of Cusco. We expect to arrive back to the city at around 6:00 p.m..
